The Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Delaware is dedicated to preserving the memory of America’s colonial era and honoring those whose military, naval, and civil service contributed to the establishment, defense, and development of the American Colonies. Our Mission
The Society works to perpetuate the memory of significant colonial events and the individuals whose service helped establish, defend, and preserve the American Colonies. Its mission also includes preserving historical records and relics, supporting appropriate commemorations, and encouraging a lasting appreciation for America’s colonial heritage.
History
The Society of Colonial Wars was established to preserve the history of the American colonial period, from the founding of Jamestown through the events preceding the Battle of Lexington. The Seal
