Membership

Membership in the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Delaware brings together individuals who share an interest in preserving the history, traditions, and legacy of America’s colonial period.

Membership is selective and subject to the Society’s eligibility requirements, genealogical documentation standards, sponsorship process, and approval by the Council. Submitting an inquiry does not constitute an application or guarantee eligibility, but it allows a Society representative to help determine the appropriate next step.

Becoming a Member

Individuals interested in membership are encouraged to contact the Society to learn more about eligibility and the application process. A Society representative can help prospective applicants understand the membership process, including sponsorship, documentation requirements, qualifying ancestral service, and the preparation of appropriate application materials.

Eligibility

Eligibility is based upon the membership qualifications established in the Constitution and Bylaws of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Delaware.
